The survey from Aspen Alerts Friday May 1st (2020) explained a huge interest in perfusion. Allow me to correct that fully pre-assembled and customizable Perfusion-Single-Use-Bioreactors (P-SUBs) for sure do exist. Fast turn-around is straight forward and more or less independent of the Process-Control-System one may have.
The two photos show the CellMembra for Pulsating-Tangential-Flow (PTF) and the CellRetention P-SUB for Alternating-Tangential-Flow (ATF) broth flow. Fully assembled, incl Single-Use-Sensors this pre-irradiated P-SUBs is ready to use right out of the bag.
