Low dead-volume ATF for Modular
Traditional desktop ATF depend on quite a long fluid path from bioreactor passing the HFF to the diaphragm pump on the lab table. Which means huge dead-volume in said fluid path. For some applications and cell lines problematic.
The photo shows up-side-down oriented dual 250 ml SUBs connected via a very short hose to the HFFs integrated with Thalia pump.
Note there is NO flow restricting Luer-Lok in the broth path for lowest possible shear stress. Lowest possible dead-volume in the fluid path.
One P-SUB integrate a Repligen HFF and one the Meissner HFF.
Our Clotho diaphragm pump drive unit and software controls accurately the stroke volume, number of strokes, and fluid velocity of the Thalia pump.
Pressure drop along the Hollow-Fibre-Filter (HFF) allow fully automatic harvest and fully selectable fluid velocity for the sequential HFF cleaning eliminating HFF blockage or fouling.
The complete package designed to fit the Modular Process-Control-System.
