Parallel 500 ml perfusion ATF SUB
Traditional small desktop ATF systems depend on quite a long fluid path from bioreactor passing hoses and Luer-Lok before reaching the Hollow-Fiber-Filter (HFF) and the pump on the lab table.
How about a re-invented ATF system avoiding fouling, dead volume and shear stress?
The left photo shows a customized 500 ml SUB integrating a SepraPor HFF “SUBmerged” deep into the SUBs broth volume. On top of SepraPor the inverted Thalia LASER guided diaphragm pump avoids cell collection.
The right photo shows the Clotho Drive Units mastering the performance of the ATF P-SUBs
The Clotho diaphragm pump Drive Unit controls accurately the stroke volume, number of strokes, and very important fluid velocity of the Thalia pump.
Pressure drop (Delta/P) along the Hollow-Fibre-Filter (HFF) are measured allowing fully automatic harvest and selectable instant higher fluid velocity for the sequential HFF cleaning eliminating HFF blockage/fouling.
