Pre-installed pressure Single-Use-Sensor - if needed !

Its common to install, integrate a pressure sensor to measure DeltaP / ∆P pressure drop/increase along the HFF in a perfusion setup. This important measure is though performed by the Clotho Drive Unit WITHOUT external pressure sensors.

Measure Trans-Membrane-Pressure (TMP) or DeltaP / ∆P pressure along the HFF. Such data is of importance to determine increasing membrane fouling. Measuring TMP over or ∆P along the HFF indicating potential straw, lumen blockage. Important information - when HFF are combined with Clio or Thalia SUPs and driven by Clotho, who measure DeltaP / ∆P, cleaning cycles can be achieved otherwise pressure over the HFF increases constantly.

Examples of how customized installment of the PendoTech or the Utah Medical Luer-Lok pressure sensors could be arranged.

  1. Between SUP and the HFF
  2. After the HFF exit port being the retentate
  3. After the HFF harvest exit port being the permeate
