Modula upgrade to ATF

Clotho drive unit integrates pressures, vacuum, volume sensors eliminating the need for external sensors for TMP, pressure drop, flow measurements. Thus Clotho operates the perfusion fully independent of Modula.

Clotho process software controls accurately the stroke volume, number of strokes, the allowed pressure drop along the Hollow-Fibre-Filter (HFF) for fully automatic harvest and fully selectable fluid velocity for the sequential HFF cleaning eliminating HFF blockage.

The photos show 250 ml SUBs connected via a very short hose from SUB to HFF and the Thalia ATF pump on top with the red LASER sensor. Note there is NO flow restricting Luer-Loc in the broth path for lowest possible shear forces. There will be no accumulation of cells in the diaphragm pump mounted up-site-down. System designed to fit also to the Modula Process-Control-System.
