SUBmerged™ ATF P-SUB keep the HFF clean
- Up to 25 liter Working Volume fully pre-assembled P-SUB
- Alternating broth by Thalia-M140 diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP)
- Meissner SepraPor™ Hollow-Fibre-Filter (HFF) with selectable 3,600 to 9,200 cm2 fouling free surface area
Benefits of the P-SUBmerged are:
- avoid HFF fouling – freedom to select broth velocities for gentle harvest and sequential pulses flushing out debris from inside the HFF
- eliminate dead volume – skip all the hoses and traditional plastic connectors and SUBmerge the HFF
- avoid cell death - inverted Thalia pump arranged on top of the HFF = hereby the diaphragm pump cannot accumulate cells
- Reduce shear force stress – remove hoses and traditional fittings and SUBmerge the HFF directly into the broth inside the P-SUB
SUBmerged 30 +CM100+C224+motor
Industry leading architecture P-SUB pre-installed with SUBmerged SepraPor C324 or C424 HFF (Hollow-Fibre-Filter) directly into the broth. Ground-breaking LASER guided Thalia diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP).
The re-invented P-SUB operating in CellRetention ATF method offer:
- 5 - 25 liter Working Volume (WV) CellVessel™ fully pre-assembled, bagged and E-beam irradiated ready to use
- Alternating broth by Thalia-TM140 diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP)
- SUBmerged SepraPor HFF in a fouling free operation integrated with innovative LASER guided Thalia diaphragm pump on top of HFF
The P-SUB
- 100% configurable design CellVessel for the 30 liter Vessel Volume (VV) OD 250 x 600 mm PC vessel
- Agitation from top (HPD) with any type and number of impellers - find Power Numbers here
SUB - Thermal Control
- Electrical-Heating-Blanket (EHB) - wrap orange silicone EHB around the P-SUB
- Liquid thermal control by Single-Use-Jacket (SUJ) integrating the P-SUB inside the SUJ for HPD
HFF – harvest semi-continuous a cell free permeate
- PerfuseCell as standard integrate TM140 A-SUP diaphragm pump with dry stored 0.2 µm pore size SepraPor HFF model C324-xx3x or C424-xx4x of 600 mm length with 2,300 cm2 or 8,500 cm2 surface area. Other requirements ask us. Only one HFF is needed - parallel HFF setup not needed as the A-SUP keep the HFF clean.
Thalia TM140 A-SUP = Alternating-Single-Use-Pump
- The diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP) exchange back and forth broth directly from SUB through the HFF
- The high precision LASER sensor measures in real-time and accurate the position of the diaphragm so broth velocity and exchanged volume calculation can be performed as to requirements
- Thalia TM140 will exchange any volume within its spec programmable from 0.1 to +10 m/sec velocity through the HFF flushing out fouling securing the HFF stay clean throughout the process
SUS - Single-Use-Sensors to choose from
- CellRetention™ features pre-installed 420 mm long SUS for DO, pH from Hamilton and level/ground as standard
- Also available with InCyte bio-mass SUS patch mounted horizontal close to the bottom of the SUB
- SUS completely eliminate the need for components sterilized in conventional autoclave
SUBmerged ATF HFF HPD Cronus
Flowchart of how the 30 liter P-SUBmerged connects to the Cronus-PCS tower.
Thalia A-SUP operated by the Lachesis Drive Unit
- CellRetention™ P-SUBmerged and Lachesis Drive Unit works with most PCS over OPC-UA and software like Lucullus and DeltaV
- Drive Unit Lachesis designed to control the Thalia A-SUP ensure efficiency with reproducible operation
- From Lachesis programmable broth/retentate velocity and volume through HFF module for gentle harvest and sequential fast removal of potential membrane deposits
- Connection to pressurized air and vacuum within your lab
