Scalable diaphragm Single-Use-Pumps for perfusion - series 32
One of the purposes of the CerPhragm family of Single-Use-Pumps (SUP) is to support upstream perfusion cultivation and secure a single Hollow-Fiber-Filter (HFF) stays clean for the entire process. Two variants of the LASER guided CerPhragm family of diaphragm SUPs is available:
-
ATF operation method – Alternating-Tangential-Flow - pump named Thalia = A-SUP with no valves - integrated with the HFF as the SUBmerged P-SUB - CellRetention principle
-
TFF operation method – Tangential-Flow-Filtration - pump named Clio - with 2 integrated passive valves - O-SUP = OneWay flow direction - further feasible as a simple, stand-alone pump which do not need calibration like the peristaltic pump - CellMembra

Both Thalia and Clio SUPs offer advanced and gentle performance guided by a LASER and controlled by either Clotho or Lachesis or Atropos Drive Units. Here shown Thalia SUPs and super customized HFF from Meissner Corp.
SepraPor HFF integrated with Thalia or Clio SUPS is revolutionizing. Both SUPs keep the HFF clean and free from fouling. This valuable benefit is fully programable with selectable low broth velocity for gentle harvest and sequential higher velocity flushing out debris for optimum process time
The CerPhragm "Single-Use-Pump" family are, as the expression indicated, made entirely from polymers and as such not designed to be high temperature autoclaved. Supplied E-beam irradiated in dual foil bags.
