Parallel mini volume ATF 300 ml P-SUB for DASbox
Traditional desktop ATF depends on quite a long fluid path from bioreactor passing hoses before reaching the HFF and to the diaphragm pump on the lab table.
Avoid dead-volume in said fluid path and shear force stress passing traditionally Luer-Loc connections with SUBmerged.
The left photo shows heavily customized 0.3 BioBLU integrating a SepraPor HFF “SUBmerged” deep into the SUBs broth volume. On top of SepraPor the inverted Thalia LASER guided diaphragm pump. The right photo illustrates a compact parallel installation on DASbox simplified by a fully loaded pre-assembled single-use set of ATF P-SUBs.
The Clotho diaphragm pump Drive Unit and software controls accurately the stroke volume, number of strokes, and very important fluid velocity of the Thalia pump.
Pressure drop along the Hollow-Fibre-Filter (HFF) are measured by Clotho allowing fully automatic harvest and selectable instant higher fluid velocity for the sequential HFF cleaning eliminating HFF blockage or fouling.
