Large CellRetention keep HFF free from fouling
World only ready to use P-SUB for ATF method offer:
- Alternating of broth by Thalia-M140 diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP)
- Meissner HFF (Hollow-Fibre-Filter) with from 3,600 to 9,200 cm2 surface area fouling free process with innovative diaphragm pump
- Up to 25 liter Working Volume fully pre-assembled P-SUB
Benefits are
- HFF fouling – freedom to select broth velocities flushing out debris from inside the lumen
- Dead volume – skip all the hoses and plastic connectors
- Cell death - inverted Thalia pump above the HFF and P-SUB cannot accumulate cells
- Shear force – remove all hoses and fittings and SUBmerge the HFF into the broth inside the P-SUB
SUBmerged 30 liter + motor
Industry leading architecture P-SUB pre-installed with SUBmerged SepraPor C324 or C424 HFF (Hollow-Fibre-Filter) directly into the broth. Ground-breaking Laser controlled Thalia diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP).
SUB - for cultivation
- 100% configurable design for the 30 liter Vessel Volume (VV) - Working Volume (WV) as low as 5 liter in an OD 250 x 600 mm PC vessel – sensor and impeller dependent
- Agitation from top (HPD) or from bottom by Magnetic-Bottom-Drive (MBD) driven by the Magnetic-Stirrer-Table (MST) with any type and number of impellers
SUB - Thermal Control
- Electrical-Heating-Blanker (EHB) - wrap orange silicone EHB around the P-SUB
- Liquid Single-Use-Jacket (SUJ) integrating the P-SUB inside the SUJ for HPD
HFF – harvest semi-continuous a cell free permeate
- PerfuseCell as standard integrate TM140 with a dry stored 0.2 µm pore size SepraPor HFF model C324-xx3x or C424-xx4x of 600 mm length with 2,300 cm2 or 8,500 cm2 surface area. Other requirements ask us. Only one HFF is needed - parallel HFF setup not needed as the A-SUP keep the HFF clean.
Thalia TM140 A-SUP = Alternating-Single-Use-Pump
- The diaphragm Alternating-Single-Use-Pump (A-SUP) exchange back and forth broth from the SUB directly through the HFF
- The high precision LASER sensor measures in real-time and accurate the position of the diaphragm so broth velocity and exchanged volume calculation can be performed
- Thalia TM140 will exchange any volume within its spec programmable from 0.1 to +10 m/sec velocity through the HFF flushing out fouling securing the HFF stay clean throughout the process
SUS - Single-Use-Sensor's to choose from
- CellRetention™ features pre-installed 420 mm long SUS for DO, pH, level/ground as standard
- Also available with InCyte bio-mass SUS patch mounted horizontal at the bottom of the SUB
- SUS completely eliminate the need for components sterilized in conventional autoclave

A-SUP – Thalia operated by the Lachesis Drive Unit
- CellRetention™ P-SUBmerged and Lachesis Drive Unit works with any PCS over OPC-UA and software like Lucullus and DeltaV
- Drive Unit Lachesis designed to control the Thalia A-SUP ensure efficient and with reproducible operation
- From Lachesis programmable broth/retentate velocity and volume through HFF module for harvest and for removal of potential membrane deposits
- Connection to pressurized air and vacuum within your lab
