A world known Switzerland sensor manufacturer with a variety of sensors for fermenters and bioreactors.
FRS-systems Aps (Fast-Reliable-Sensor systems) was founded to exploit technology developed at the Department of Chemistry and Nano-Science Center, University of Copenhagen. A strong background in dye chemistry and materials science paved the way for the invention of FRS-spots, where all the drawbacks of optical sensing have been eliminated. FRS-spots are not light sensitive, the spots respond in a thousandth of a second and are read in a tenth of a second.
The Electrospinning Company Ltd. manufactures nano-fibre scaffolds for 3D cell culture, utilizing the world-class electrospinning facilities in England. Electrospun fibre scaffolds support 3D growth of a variety of different cell types and are produced from FDA approved medical grade polymers.
